Turn a Korean HWP document into Word

Converting HWP to .docx is the practical way to edit a Korean document when you do not own Hancom Office. The result opens in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice and Pages, so you can edit, comment and collaborate normally.

Paragraphs, heading structure, tables including merged cells, and inline images carry over. Hangul-specific details such as outline numbering and character spacing are simplified to Word defaults. If you need the original layout preserved exactly rather than edited, convert to PDF instead.

Everything happens in your browser, so the document is never sent to a server.

How to use

  1. 1

    Select an HWP file.

  2. 2

    Click Start.

  3. 3

    Download the .docx.
