Extract a Korean document into Markdown
Markdown is the easiest way to get the contents of a Korean report into Notion, Obsidian, GitHub or a static site. Paragraphs, bold and italics, tables and footnotes are written in Markdown syntax, so the content survives the move.
Hangul outline levels and heading styles are not turned into # headings; they come out as ordinary paragraphs. Markdown tables cannot express merged cells, so a table that has them is written as an HTML table and keeps its merges. Footnotes become n) marks with the note text gathered at the end.
The file is processed locally and never uploaded.

- Merged cells?
- A table with merged cells is written as an HTML table (colspan/rowspan) inside the Markdown, so the merges are kept.
- Equations?
- Equations may not be carried over; check the places where they stood.
- Where can I paste the result?
- Notion, Obsidian, GitHub and any static site generator all read Markdown.
- Do headings become # headings?
- No. Hangul outline levels and heading styles come out as ordinary paragraphs, so add the # marks yourself afterwards.
- Are images included?
- You can choose to embed them as base64 or leave them out.
