Pull plain text out of an HWP file

When you only need the words, for translation, quoting or full-text search, plain text is the most useful format. This tool extracts body text and table contents from HWP and HWPX into a .txt file.

Table cells are separated by tabs, so the result pastes straight into a spreadsheet. The file is written as UTF-8, which matters for Korean: if the characters look wrong, open it with the encoding set to UTF-8.

Only HWP 5.0 and HWPX are supported. Processing happens in your browser.
