Removing the pages nobody needs

Bank statements arrive padded with marketing inserts. A signed contract is forty pages of boilerplate around the four that matter. A duplex scan of a single-sided stack is half blank versos. Sending the whole thing wastes the reader's time and sometimes exceeds an attachment limit.

Click the thumbnails you want gone and everything you did not mark is kept. Pages are copied as they are, so there is no quality loss and no second round of compression, and the file usually shrinks by roughly the share of pages you dropped. At least one page must remain.

Bookmarks are lost in the copy, and a PDF that still has form fields is refused with a prompt to flatten it first, which matters for a filled form but not for a statement or a scan. If you are keeping only a handful of pages out of many, naming the ones to keep in Extract pages is far less clicking than marking all the others. Your original file is untouched and nothing is uploaded.
