Word Viewer
Read a .docx file page by page in your browser, without Word. Works on Mac, phones and Chromebooks, and you can print or save to PDF. The file never leaves your device.
This tool does not upload your files. Close the tab and nothing is left behind.
Opening a .docx on a device without Word
A Mac, a phone or a meeting-room laptop may not have Word, but the document still has to be read. This viewer draws a .docx as pages the moment you pick it, and a pager makes long documents comfortable to read. Tables, pictures, headers, footers and page numbers appear as in the document.
It is read-only, so nothing can change by accident, and the print button gives you paper or a PDF directly. Fonts come from your device, so a missing font is substituted and a line may wrap a character or two differently.
Below the document the site lists every tool that takes the same file, so converting to Hangul (HWP) or pulling out Markdown or plain text is one click, and the file stays in your browser throughout.

Frequently asked questions
- Can I edit it?
- This is read-only. Edit in Word or Google Docs, or convert with Word to Hangul to open it in Hancom Office.
- Does it look exactly like Word?
- Nearly, when the fonts are installed; missing fonts are substituted, so a line may break a character or two away.
- What about .doc files?
- The old .doc format is not supported. Save as .docx in Word first.
