Turning notes into a document people can open
Markdown is convenient right up to the moment you have to send it to someone. A client, a professor or a procurement officer wants a file that opens the same way on their machine, and a raw .md attachment is not that. The usual workaround, pasting into a word processor, breaks code blocks and tables.
Type or open your Markdown on the left and the rendered document appears on the right; the export goes through your browser's print dialog, where you choose Save as PDF as the destination. Routing it through the browser is deliberate, because the browser already has the fonts and the text shaping for every script, so Korean, Arabic, emoji and monospaced code come out correctly instead of as empty boxes. GitHub-flavoured tables, code blocks and blockquotes are all rendered.
There is no direct download button here; the print dialog is the step that produces the file, and its margin and paper settings are the ones that apply. Only images embedded as data URLs are drawn; one referenced by a web address or a path on your disk is not loaded. Nothing is uploaded at any point, so an unpublished draft stays on your machine.

- Do images show up?
- Only images embedded as data URLs. Images referenced by a web address or a local path are not loaded.
