Phone Number QR Code Generator
Create a QR code that opens the dialler with your number ready to call. Put it on shop signs, business cards, vehicle contact cards and emergency notices so nobody has to type the number.
This tool does not upload your files. Close the tab and nothing is left behind.
Higher levels survive damage better but make the code denser. Use H if you plan to place a logo on it.
Adding a logo locks error correction to H. Test-scan before printing.
Type something and the QR code will appear.
Let people call instead of memorising a number
A contact card behind a windscreen, a 'to let' banner, the opening-hours notice on a shop door: all of them expect someone to read a number and type it correctly. A phone-number QR code removes that step. Scanning opens the dialler with the number already entered, and one tap places the call.
A phone number is a tiny payload, so the code is very simple. It reads reliably at 1.5 cm on a business card, and for a banner read from a distance you simply print it larger. If visitors from other countries may call, enter the number in international format with your country code so it connects from their phones too. Adding a logo raises error correction to level H automatically, so no extra setting is needed.
The call starts only when the person presses the button; a scan never dials by itself. If you want people to save your name, company and email as well, the vCard QR code is the right tool, and for incoming texts use the SMS QR code. The number you enter never leaves your browser.
How to use

Frequently asked questions
- Does scanning start the call immediately?
- No. The dialler opens with the number entered; the person presses the call button.
- Should I include the country code?
- If only local people will scan it, a local number is fine. Use +44 20... style international format when visitors from abroad might call.
- Any tips for business cards?
- A phone number is short, so the code is simple and scans well even at 1.5 cm. If you want people to save your whole contact, use the vCard QR code instead.
- Is the number stored anywhere?
- No. It is processed in your browser only.
